How to Make Wok Box Recipes


One of the signatures of Wok box recipes is Szechwan pepper dish. The good news would be that a single serving of this dish adds just a nominal of 522 calories.

Ingredients Needed:

Szechwan noodles 1 tbsp
Salt
Chicken (boneless, skinless, thinly pounded) 1 lbs
Canola oil 2 tbsp
Ginger (minced) 2 tbsp
Garlic (minced) 2 tbsp
Onions (thinly sliced) 1 cup
Broccoli florets 1 cup
Green peppers(thinly sliced) ¼ cup
Red peppers(thinly sliced) ¼ cup
Green peppers(thinly sliced) ¼ cup
Yellow peppers(thinly sliced) ¼ cup
Mushroom (sliced) 1 cup
Thin soy sauce 2 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Scallions (thinly cut in biased angle) ¼ cup

Procedure:

  • First and foremost, you will have to heat a small saucepan, to which you can add the Szechwan peppercorns.
  • Now, shake the pan regularly until the peppercorns are fragrant.
  • You can take away the saucepan. Grind the peppercorns; spice grinder is preferred for aiding the process.
  • Take the chicken and cut them up to cubes; flavor up your chicken with peppercorns and salt.
  • Now the wok should be heated by setting the temperature to high. Once it is hot enough, you can add oil.
  • Spice up the dish with ginger, garlic and onions; don’t forget to stir-fry them for atleast a minute.
  • Finally, just add the chicken, broccoli, peppers, shiitake mushrooms, soy sauce, sherry, and chili paste. At this instant you can stir fry for 5 minutes or until the chicken and vegetables are equally cooked.
  • Now, garnish it with scallion, coriander, and red chili or you can add scallion and stir-fry it.

This Wok box recipe would blend well with Chow Mein noodles or white Jasmine rice, and what more do you need if it is even tossed in Wok box’s Szechwan sauce.
