You require cooking oil and wok for seasoning purpose. Initially, the new wok should be washed with the mild soap and hot water. Next, you need to place the wok on the stove with medium heat before rinsing it will. Fold the paper towel in square shape and soak the paper in fresh veg-oil.

Wipe the wok with the paper until it is totally covered with the oil film. Now take a clean towel pad and wipe the wok continuously. Adjust the heat and allow the wok to be heated for fifteen minutes under low heat. Use the wok after it cools down, but if you still find the food sticking on to the wok, you may have to re-season it, in order to get the best results.

Rinse the wok after using it. Make sure that you rinse the wok with hot water. Usually, you can see rust depositing on the wok; this may happen due to improper washing and cleaning.
