Fried rice is one of the wok recipes that can be prepared easily.

Ingredients Needed

Green onions 1-2
Large eggs 2
Salt 1 tbsp
Pepper According to taste
Oil 4 tbsp
Cold cooked rice 4 cups
Light soy sauce of oyster 1-2 tbsp.

Preparation

  • The first and basic preparation for this recipe includes cooking rice atleast one day before so that it will be cooled and be crispier by the time of preparation; this is done basically to avoid the mushiness.
  • While preparing for the recipe, beat the eggs nicely until they are frothy along with little pepper and salt.
  • Now, place the wok on stove in high flame, add 2 tbsp of oil to it. Then, add the beaten egg to the wok, and stir it until the eggs are scrambled, after this you can clean the pan.
  • Wash and chop the green onions finely..
  • Again place the wok, add 2 tbsp of oil along with rice to it. Stir the rice and heat it for approximately 2-3 min; break the crumples with aid of a spoon or chopsticks.
  • Further, add soy sauce or oyster sauce to the wok, according to taste (preferably 1 to 2 tbsp).
  • After the thorough heating of rice, you can add scrambled egg to the pan and mix it well and stir green onion too.
  • Garnish the dish and serve hot to relish the taste.
